Prom Season in Myrtle Beach

Prom Season in Myrtle Beach

Depending on when spring break falls the months of March and April can be busy for prom photo shoots. I wanted to share some of the photos from a recent prom session. For more session sneak peeks follow me on Instagram and Facebook

David & Kassie- Myrtle Beach State Park, Market Common

David and Kassie originally wanted to do their prom photos at Atalaya in Huntington Beach State Park. However, I suggested that because of dinner reservations at Tupelo Honey in Market Common that we pick somewhere closer because of the Myrtle Beach traffic on a Friday evening. We ended up deciding on Myrtle Beach State Park and were able to get some amazing shots on the pier and beach accesses.

I was actually surprised at how windy it was out at the State Park and suggested we move over to Market Common as there were some great little parks that we could get some more photos at. We ended up at Valor Memorial Garden right in front of Tupelo Honey Cafe where we got one of my favorite shots. As they were walking up to the fountain I was able to get a picture of them across the fountain talking to each other. It just goes to show that some of the best pictures happen when no one is looking.
